Alenah's Angels was created with the mission to provide joy, happiness, and comfort to children with cancer. We created this site to honor our daughter, Alenah, and to keep her memory alive. Alenah passed away suddenly on March 19, 2011 at the age of 19. She had just been accepted into nursing school and was so excited to start her clinical studies in the fall. Her dream was to become a pediatric nurse working with children battling cancer. She eventually wanted to become a nurse practitioner specializing in pediatric oncology. She loved and adored children and had a special gift with every child she met. It was Alenah's passion and life dedication to work with them and to help, love, and encourage every child possible. As Alenah had once said about caring for critically ill children, "If I could make one child happy for even one day, it would be worth it to me."
